Create a financially abundant life with plenty of time to enjoy the things that matter most, including family, good friends and the beautiful place that I call home.
Live in the moment and celebrate life's little treasures as they come each day, taking time to stop and enjoy the journey.
Enjoy the process of life as it unfolds.
Let the people I love know how special they are and take the time to nurture and appreciate those relationships.
Work less, play more and look back in 60 years with a big smile on my face.
Live in the moment and be like a child (children are my biggest heros)
Look at everybody from the place that Source sees them (still working on that one a bit:)
Born in Santa Barbara, my family moved to a little town in California called Truckee when I was 5. Starting kindergarten here and graduating from the local high school, I had many years to hike, bike, swim and do just about anything an active kid would love.
My parents worked a lot when I was younger and I always longed for the simple life where vacations and down time were part of the package. There was a contrast created that made me desire more than ever an existence that acknowledged space to just "be."
I moved away for a couple years for college, to the beach in southern California. I soon realized that my heart was in the mountains, and after some thought packed up and headed North again.
After struggling with some addictions as a teen, I was led to a deeper longing for a spriritual connection, which has grown and changed over the years. I have been to a personal "low" and since have been exploring and enjoying the journey "up". I never thought there was so much to be discovered inside of myself, expecially after spending so many years looking outside.
Now I am back home a few years later, with a degree in psychology and a job in real estate, where I work with my parents in our family business called Pacific Crest Properties.
I have been married almost 2 years to a man who has a heart of gold, and we live in our dream house with our dog Action, who we consider our son and an active member of our family.
In recent years I have found myself following some old family patterns where work takes priority and sometimes the things that matter most, get put to the back burner.
I guess that is why I am here, to learn how to really nurture my spirit and put my needs first. I want to spend more time living in the present and less time thinking about the past and future.
Two of my best friends have kids and some of my favorite time is spent hanging with them and living in the moment of a child, with appreciation of EVERYTHING and ANYTHING. That is my true goal, to let the "small stuff" roll off and focus on the simple needs to create a happy exisitence. Just yesterday I was at the beach with the mom and kid crew, floating in inner tubes, sticking my feet in the sand and doing handstands in the lake. Laughter and appreciation is never lacking and that is what I love and strive for in each and every day.
Live a life of BALANCE! That seems to be a word coming up a lot lately, as I am embarking on a new business venture with The Balance Company.
I have no problem dreaming and have a lot on my wish list, so now is the time to let go of resistence and line up with what it is that I am deeply wanting (speaking from the language of my inspiration Abraham).
My life has been so great so far and is better than belief right here in this very minute. The more I learn and the more I grow, I know that there is EVEN MORE out there. I have a feeling that there are some pretty great things in store!!!
